Fred Usoh, MD, D.ABA, D.ABPM
Practice Director & Administrator
Dr. Usoh received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from City University of New York and his Medical Degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed residency in Anesthesiology at Maimonides Medical Center in New York where he also completed 2 years of General Surgery Residency. Prior to his residency training, he severed as a research associate in vascular surgery where he autored several publications on vena cava filteration devices and Balloon-Assisted Maturation of Autogenous Arteriovenous Fistulae. He then went on to complete a combined Interventional Pain Medicine and Addiction Medicine Fellowship at Ancora Pain Recovery in Georgia.
Dr. Usoh is board certified in Anesthesiology, sub-specialty of Pain Medicine, and board eligible in Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Usoh provides comprehensive, non-operative spine, and musculoskeletal care. He performs fluoroscopically-guided spine injections, and advanced minimally-invasive procedures such as radiofrequency ablation, neuromodulator therapy, Minimally invasive lumbar decompression surgery, Sacral iliac joint fusion, and peripheral nerve stimulator implantation.

Juan Carlo Salvania is a certified registered nurse practitioner. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at Rutgers University in 2013. His nursing career included long-term care and acute hospital settings, ultimately culminating to him becoming a Team Coordinator in a Cardiac Stepdown Unit. He pursued his Master’s Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at Drexel University. Before specializing in Pain Management, he worked as a Wound Care Provider throughout Northeast PA. He proudly joins Commonwealth Pain and Wellness Center dedicated to providing evidence-based care to guide patients and achieve their maximum functional potential. He is board certified through AANP as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He has an unparalleled aptitude in identifying those patients who would benefit from neuromodulation therapy and minimally invasive lumbar decompression (MILD) procedure.
